BSX dips 6.67 points

West Hamilton Holdings Ltd rose 53 percent ($2.65) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.On Tuesday the property developer announced on the BSX that it was seeking to raise $9.3 million in a rights issue, with most of the proceeds would be used to pay off bank debt.The company traded 1,000 shares to close at $7.65.Other movers included Butterfield Bank, which saw 7,600 shares change hands as it fell 1.42 percent (two cents) to $1.38.BF&M Ltd also declined 0.33 percent (five cents) to $14.80 with 7,400 shares transacted.Overall the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index dipped 6.67 points (0.56 percent) to 1,189.77.The BSX Insurance Index, however, advanced 17 points (1.77 percent) to 979.Useful website:www.bsx.com
