Argus Group Holdings Ltd rose two percent (ten cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The insurer closed at $5.10 with 500 shares traded during the day.Butterfield Bank also saw its preference shares gain 1.62 percent ($20) to climb to $1,250 as 216 shares changed hands.The bank also transacted 1,000 common shares, but its share price held firm at $1.40.The Index, as a whole, inched up 1.82 points (0.15 percent) to 1,201.54 with 1,500 shares worth BD$3,950 and 1,035 shares worth US$278,445.45 traded.The BSX Insurance Index, however, fell five points (0.52 percent) to 959.
