The Ascendant Group Ltd climbed 4.49 percent (64 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The energy provider traded 3,000 shares to close at $14.89.Also in the utilities sector, KeyTech Ltd fell 0.81 percent (five cents) to $6.05 with 900 shares changing hands.Elsewhere Butterfield Bank’s preference shares rose 0.4 percent ($5) to $230 as 50 shares were transacted. The bank also traded 11,000 common shares, but its share price held firm at $1.40.Argus Group Holdings Ltd, meanwhile, saw 2,500 shares change hands, however its share value remained unchanged at $5.Overall the Index advanced five points (0.42 percent) to 1,204.2 with 14,900 shares worth BD$65,555 and 50 shares worth US$61,577.78 transacted.The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 22 points (2.24 percent) to 960.
