New York’s legislators are making good on a vow to force Mayor Michael Bloomberg to reveal travel details if he leaves the city for long.Mr Bloomberg’s frequent trips to Bermuda landed him in trouble when he was out of town during a catastrophic blizzard last December.The bill, put forward by Councillor Peter Vallone, Jr, went before the city’s council this week.If passed, it will require the billionaire mayor to notify the city clerk if he travels more than 250 miles away for longer than one day, or makes any trip outside the US.
