Hospital staff today highlighted a safety message as many people work from home or are on quarantine as a result of Covid-19 restrictions.

Perioperative staff, who provide surgical services, were pictured holding up messages to the public.

The reminder was: “We stay here for you — you stay home for us.”

The caution came after people were asked to keep off the roads if possible, remain at home and stick to social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus.
