‘Bermuda Nights’ starts tomorrow at Barr’s Bay Park
Get ready to celebrate the very best the Island has to offer as Bermuda Nights kick off this weekend at Barr’s Bay Park.The new Saturday night live entertainment event will see dance and musical performances from local artists.From 8pm-10.30pm tomorrow, families are invited along to enjoy entertainment from the Native Percent Band, fire and limbo dancers and group Prestege. The event is free of charge.Bermuda Nights is the Department of Tourism’s new entertainment initiative, which takes place twice a month from June to October.The summer line-up includes artists such as HindSight, Spirit, Working Title, Joy T. Barnum & The Chanel and Homegrown.Tourism Minister Patrice Minors said: “We want to ensure that our visitors are exposed to the complete Bermuda experience, and so each ‘Bermuda Night’ will not only feature an interactive cultural performance, but we will have some of our signature local cuisine favourites on hand to enhance the evening.“Good music, fun entertainment and great food is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday night, and I want to encourage all residents to come, bring their friends and families and engage with our visitors in support of ‘Bermuda Nights’ at Barr’s Bay Park.”Future Bermuda Nights will take place on June 25, July 9 and 23, August 6 and 20, September 3 and 17 and October 1 and 15.
