A cruise ship employee was sent to hospital after an altercation with local men at Snorkel Park.No arrests have been made in connection with the fight, which happened around 2.35am today.Police are now investigating the incident.A Police spokesman said the fight was between two male employees from a visiting cruise ship “and a group of local men”.He said: “Security staff at Snorkel Park immediately responded and broke up the fight, but not before both cruise ship employees and one of the security staff had been assaulted. One of the crew members received the worst of the injuries that required admission to the hospital.“His injuries are not considered life-threatening.”Anyone with information is asked to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
