Nick Jones has been handed a second chance to qualify for the US Open.Jones, who missed out after losing a play-off in his sectional qualifier, has been given the spot of the man who beat him.First alternate after his defeat to Gene Jones, Jones has now pulled out, and Nick Jones will travel to Quail Valley Golf Club today to try and make it a step closer to the 111th US Open.Today’s qualifier will be over 36 holes and Nick Jones tees off from the 10th tee at 8.35am and plays his second 18 from the first tee at 2.05pm.Details are on the Florida State Golf Association website.
