Wesley Tucker has been promoted to the position of assistant maitre d’ at the Fairmont Southampton’s Jasmine Lounge.In his new role, Mr Tucker, a Bermudian, will play a key role in ensuring a seamless service experience to more than 100,000 guests per year that generate more than $3.5 million in annual revenue.Supporting a team of 20 colleagues, Mr Tucker will be responsible for their initial and ongoing training and development.He will further be expected to spend time tableside interacting with guests to understand, anticipate and exceed their needs.Mr Tucker brings over half a decade of experience in the tourism industry to the position of assistant maitre d’ at the Jasmine Lounge having served in various capacities at The Reefs, the Stonington Beach Hotel and Greg’s Steakhouse. Mr Tucker holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science from Framingham State University in Massachusetts.
