Front Street fight leaves man in hospital
An early morning fight on Front Street left one man injured and three arrested, but two have since been cautioned and released.Pictures taken of the area show crowds of people outside a row of popular Hamilton nightspots as the incident took place.According to a police spokesman, officers received a report of a disturbance at around 2am on Wednesday.When they arrived on scene outside the Moon nightclub, they found two men involved in a verbal argument and one of the men, a 25-year-old from Paget, was arrested.Two other men, a 27-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from Pembroke, were also arrested in connection with the incident.“The 20-year-old was injured and an ambulance attended the scene, however his injury is not believed to be serious,” a police spokesman said.“No one is willing to make a formal complaint and therefore both Pembroke men were later cautioned and released.”
