Accident at roundabout

Police reported a crash at the junction of Par-la-Ville Road and Serpentine Road in Pembroke at 6.10pm on Wednesday.A 53-year-old Devonshire man riding a motorcycle was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment after colliding with an SUV as both vehicles drove on the roundabout. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old Pembroke man, was unhurt.Man robbedA man driving on Woodlands Road, Pembroke was robbed at 2.55am on Wednesday by an assailant riding an orange motorcycle.The 21-year-old Warwick man’s wallet was stolen after he was threatened with a bladed article. The suspect is described as a dark brown skinned man in a white helmet, black shirt and black trousers.Car broken intoA car parked at Spittal Pond in Smith’s was reported broken into around 6.55pm on Wednesday.Between 6.20pm and 6.40pm, a red bag containing cash plus a BlackBerry phone and personal items was stolen from the vehicle.
