May 18, 2011Dear Sir,Most of us are really pleased to still have a job, even at reduced hours and no pay increase for the last few years. The People’s employees in the Civil Service have just been awarded a 1.25 percent pay increase. Will the PLP Government now have to borrow even more money to pay them?We need a smaller, more efficient and cost effective Civil Service. Paying them more when all the rest of us are doing with less is a slap in the face for the private sector taxpayers.I GIVE UP!Pembroke
