KRyS Global, a firm dedicated to corporate recovery, insolvency, forensic accounting and business advisory services, has named Patrick McPhee as the new managing director of its Bermuda office.The company opened its Bermuda office last year to support the largely cross-jurisdictional nature of its operations in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas.The Bermuda office has grown to four members of staff, and is looking to expand further. In celebration of the new office, a grand opening cocktail party took place yesterday evening.Mr McPhee brings 18 years’ experience in the areas of corporate recovery, restructuring, forensic investigations and litigation support services.He started his professional career with two Big Four firms’ Corporate Recovery Divisions in Australia. Subsequently, he was involved in a number of offshore jurisdictions, including Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Singapore, Brunei, and most recently, Malaysia.Mr McPhee has acted as chief financial officer and company secretary of three publicly-listed Australian companies to oversee and implement internal financial restructuring of these entities.More recently, he was a partner and executive director with Australasian Insolvency specialist, Ferrier Hodgson, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Kenneth Krys, founder and CEO of KRyS Global, said “We are happy to welcome Patrick to the team at KRyS Global.
