Butterfield Bank rose 2.25 percent (three cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.The bank traded 82,312 shares to close at $1.36.LOM (Holdings) Ltd also saw 5,000 shares change hands as it fell 1.58 percent (five cents) to $3.10.The Ascendant Group Ltd was the only other trader with 2,000 shares transacted, but its share price remained unchanged at $14.The Index, as a whole, climbed 14.07 points (1.2 percent) to 1,186.78 as 89,312 shares worth $152,587.20 were traded.The BSX Insurance Index was also up two points (0.2 percent) at 1,008.
