Argus apologises
This was sent to Judith Davidson in response to a Letter to the Editor entitled “Big crowd, one elevator” and was copied to The Royal Gazette.April 13, 2011Dear Judith,Many thanks for your e-mail and for letting us know about your experience at our Health Fair last week. On behalf of the Argus Wellness Team here, I would like to apologise for the frustration and inconvenience caused to you and your husband. We do have two elevators and whilst they were both working, during the lunch hour we experienced an influx of visitors. The Health Fair continues to become more and more popular each year with record numbers attending this year, to such an extent it is clear the Health Fair is rapidly outgrowing the Argus building as a venue. I do appreciate your feedback and once again I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I am also sorry the security guard on duty did not treat you as a welcomed guest of Argus we will be addressing this with the relevant people. To help compensate you for your time, I would like to invite you to Argus to collect an Argus Health Fair bag containing information from our “I love my Heart” campaign. We will also compensate you for your parking costs. If you let me know when you would like to come, I can have this ready for you.CATHERINE BURNSWellness ManagerThe Argus Group
