March 23, 2011Dear Sir,The overgrowth of trees from other people’s property causes an element of danger to many road users, vehicular and pedestrians. We had this situation in our neighbourhood which required contacting the National Trust, Mr Outerbridge, our MP Terry Lister, Belco and Public Works’ electrical engineer Mr Bertoli. Each area contacted did its part for the public’s safety. Now a light which couldn’t be seen before Hurricane Igor because of tree overgrowth is now seen and working and the other trees taking away vision are cut back. Mr Bertoli is now helping us have more lighting that will greatly enhance the safety for our Scaur Hill community.
