I am responsible for all arrivals and departures, oversee the bell staff and also ensure that our guests transportation needs are met and exceeded. I also make sure everyone receives a very warm Rosewood Tucker's Point welcome upon their arrival to the hotel.What is your favourite part of the job? My favourite part of my job is making our guests smile every day! I also enjoy the challenge of wanting to be better tomorrow than I am today.What is your least favourite part of the job? To have any guest or visitor leave Rosewood Tucker's Point and say that they didn't have a great time and bidding farewell to our guests.What is your most interesting experience at work? I recently had two guests arrive at the hotel from Hamilton in a taxi. They jumped out of the taxi and ran into the hotel without paying the fare. The driver started to run after them but I stopped the driver and paid the small fare. Later, we found out the guest was sure she lost her purse, only to find out she had dropped it on the floor of the hotel room. They later thanked me and invited me to join them for dinner.What would you be doing otherwise? I love going to visit the sick at the hospital at least twice a week. And I spend as much time as possible helping other people, because my late mother always reminded me that it is not always about me, it's about doing God's great work every day helping others. My list also includes taking care of my family, running as many marathons as possible, learning to play golf and travelling around the world.
