Coldwell Banker honours employees

Coldwell Banker Bermuda Realty has held an annual local awards event to honour its staff, with 22 accolades being presented in recognition of production and performance in areas such as customer service and professionalism.

Topping the list of achievers for the real estate agent, which employs 58 staff, the majority of whom have their Bermuda Real Estate Salesperson Licence, was sales representative, Joy Jones, who was recognised for achieving premier honours all round in sales as Top Selling Agent, Top Listing Agent, Most Improved Agent and Top Overall Agent, respectively.

Rental representative Nakia Warner, meanwhile, won the Top Renting Agent and Top Rental Listing Agent, while agency manager Susan Thompson reported a solid year for the agency division, with involvement in more than 400 closed real estate transactions (sales and rentals) between July 2008 and June 2009.

Paul Matthews, manager of the professional services division, was also on hand to make presentations to Rob Newton, a senior valuer and property manager, for overall production, and to Bermudian Jason Smith, assistant land surveyor, for most improved production in that business area. Length of Service Awards were picked up by Adam Birch (five years), Dianne Carlson (five years), Mike Chlebek (five years), Judy Maybury (five years), Scott Powell (five years), Sharika Tucci (five years), Jack Kripl (10 years), Angie Gonsalves Lodge (15 years), Jennifer Lindo (15 years), Kim Webb (15 years), Karen Brine (20 years), Heather Chilvers (20 years) and Joy Jones (20 years). The Above and Beyond Award was given to Angela Smith, sales assistant, for her commitment to customer service.
