New season same Sims

New season, same old Michael Sims. The Bermuda golfer re-inforced his reputation for inconsistency during a first round 74 at the Nationwide Tour’s season-opening Panama Claro Championship yesterday.Sims yo-yoed between even par and four over at the Club de Golf de Panama during a round that included six bogeys and two birdies. He began with a bogey at the par four second, but dragged himself back to level par with a birdie at six, unfortunately that was as good as it got for Sims.Bogeys at seven and nine saw him hit the turn at two-over, and despite a birdie at 12, bogeys at 11, 15 and 16 have left him with a lot of work to do to make the cut.In contrast playing partner Erik Compton surged to the top of the leaderboard with a six-under par 64.
