BSX slips 2.4%
The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index fell 27.29 points, or 2.4 percent, last week to close on 1,117.54.Butterfield Bank fell 2.4 percent, or three cents, to $1.22 on the trading of 22,200 shares over the five days.It was also a down week for insurer Argus Group Holdings, which shed nine cents, or 1.8 percent, to close the week on $4.90, as 16,000 shares were exchanged.The biggest gainer was Watlington Waterworks Ltd, which shot up by $1, or 10 percent, to $11, as 2,000 changed hands.Insurer BF&M Ltd also recorded a slight gain, rising one cent, or 0.1 percent, to close on $14.01, as 620 shares traded.Energy company Ascendant Group Ltd fell 50 cents, or 3.3 percent, on the trading of 2,200 shares.The volume of trade on the BSX totalled 43,020 shares and turnover was $168,309.70.
