Public invited to watch educational films at library during lunchtimes

Educational films will be shown at the National Library at noon on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes through February and March.Minister of Public Information Services Neletha Butterfield told the House of Assembly on Friday the focus of February’s films will be black Bermudian history.The film showing on Tuesday February 15 and Thursday February 17 is ‘Emancipation: a Love Story’, about the slave trade.On Tuesday February 22 and Thursday February 24, the film will be ‘When Voices Rise’, about the theatre boycott.In March, the films will include 13 ‘EnviroShorts’ about Bermuda’s natural world, and a film by the National Training Board about careers in Bermuda.
