Anthony Santucci was last night elected chairman of the Progressive Labour Party.

Mr. Santucci — well-known for campaigning against drunk driving as chairman of CADA — replaces David Burt, who quit citing family and business reasons.

The Warwick North Central branch chairman was elected on the second day of the PLP’s annual delegates conference yesterday.
