Shooting for the stars: Bermudian Jenaya Wade-Fray, pictured above with her college coach Wes Moore and (right) in action this week for the Chattanooga Lady Mocs during their victory over Furman College, has now racked up 1,000 points and is 16th on Chattanooga's all-time scoring list.

Bermuda's Jenaya Wade-Fray has passed another benchmark in her impressive college basketball career, racking up her 1000th point for Chattanooga Lady Mocs.

After a superb week in which she averaged 17 points and 7.5 rebounds in wins over Furman and Wofford, Wade-Fray moved on to 1,201 career points, and is 16th on Chattanooga's all-time scoring list.

Her 191 career three-pointers rank third in school history and fifth all-time in the Southern Conference.

And her recent good form has been recognised by the Southern Conference, who named her women's basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.

In the 58-52 win at Furman, Wade-Fray posted her second double-double of the season with a game-high 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Against Wofford, Wade-Fray once again scored the game high, tallying 19 points to go along with five boards. The Lady Mocs won 78-72 and claimed their 10th consecutive victory.

Wade-Fray has scored in double figures 15 times this season and has led the Lady Mocs in points five times.

The Lady Mocs will host Elon tomorrow at 5 p.m. as the first game of a double-header with the men's team. On Monday, Chattanooga will welcome UNC Greensboro in a 7 p.m. match-up.
