Bermuda women's national volleyball team opened up their 2010 Bermuda Open campaign with back-to-back double headers yesterday as they looked to grab a spot in the play-off rounds.

The ladies were scheduled to play the Powerzone team of New Jersey and TKO of Toronto at the Warwick Academy Gym.

Today they will take on St John Krunchers and Downstate New York at 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. at the same venue.

The play-offs begin tomorrow at 10 a.m.

The Bermuda Open is an international invitation tournament, sponsored by the Bermuda Department of Tourism.

Also on tap tomorrow afternoon is a men's national team exhibition match.

Admission is free for all sessions with a tournament social at Docksiders starting at 9 p.m. following tomorrow's play-off matches.
