Butterfield Bank traded 476,402 rights issue shares on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank's shares rose two cents (100 percent) to finish the day at six cents, with 3,476,402 shares traded.

Butterfield also transacted 30,000 common shares worth $1.30 each, but its share price remained unchanged.

Elsewhere Argus Group Holdings Ltd. saw 500 shares change hands, however its share value held firm at $6.50.

The Index, as a whole, opened and closed at 1,306.5, as 5,506,902 shares worth $253,639.26 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 6.6 points (0.66 percent) at 1,004.6.
