BF&M Ltd. boosted its share price by 4.91 percent (75 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer traded 1,900 shares to close the day at $16.

Butterfield Bank's common shares were also up five cents (one percent) at $5.05, with 1,000 shares changing hands.

The bank also transacted 78 preference shares, but the total value of those held firm at $250.

KeyTech Ltd., meanwhile, traded 200 shares, however its share price stayed at $9.

The Index as a whole rose 19.61 points (0.86 percent) to 2,307.53, with 3,100 shares worth BD$37,250 changing hands and 78 shares worth US$99,060 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 0.03 percent at 939.34.
