Butterfield Bank dropped 10 cents (0.66 percent) to close at $15 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 36,366 shares during the day.

The only other trader was BF&M Ltd., which saw 36 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $21.

Overall the Index finished down 17.47 points (0.37 percent) at 4,646.51, with 36,402 worth $546,589.90 being transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 1.24 percent to 1,006.43.
