BSX takes 2% tumble

It was a case of losses across the board on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index last week, with no fewer than four companies seeing their share prices fall.

BF&M Ltd. experienced the biggest drop of $1.25 to close at $20.75, with 1,768 shares traded, while Butterfield Bank declined 50 cents to finish on $15, as 196,384 shares changed hands.

Bermuda Commercial Bank was down five cents after an active week's trading, as was Belco Holdings Ltd.

But there was some good news, with KeyTech Ltd. (50 cents), Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. (45 cents) and Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (five cents) all advancing.

The Index closed down 92.09 points (1.97 percent) at 4,657.19, with 219,938 shares worth $3,345,492.85 transacted.
