Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. continued its good form for the week, rising $1.50 (14.28 percent) to close at $12 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday.

The bank, which advanced 50 cents on Tuesday, also traded 250 shares.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank (30,057 shares) and Belco Holdings Ltd. (1,100), but their share prices remained unchanged.

The Index as a whole finished up 11.53 points (0.23 percent) at 4,995.78, with 31,407 shares worth $535,900.20 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however was down 9.3 points (0.85 percent) at 1,073.71.
