It's supposed to be the season to be merry but it seems someone in Sandys does not share the Christmas spirit.

Police said yesterday that someone had stolen two Christmas trees from two addresses in the parish.

On Tuesday a resident in Friendly Lane told Police that between 1.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday someone took an 8ft tree from her porch.

And then yesterday morning Police received another report of a Christmas tree being stolen from the porch of a house on Tranquility Hill.
