As many as 12 staff will be affected when Rothschild's Bermuda office closes its doors this September. Despite calling the Bermuda branch "successful," Rothschild Trust CEO David McLennan said in a press release that the closure would improve efficiency. The Bermuda office of the Trust was opened in 1996.

Services provided by the branch will be moved to one of the organisation's 11 other offices.
