Robbers hit pizza restaurant

Police have launched an investigation after four men armed with weapons robbed the Upper Crust Restaurant in Warwick.

The victims, a 37-year-old man and a 35-year-old man who work at the restaurant, told Police that four young men entered the premises around 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Two of the men approached the victims demanding cash, one had a blunt object while the other had a bladed article.

The suspect with the bladed article took a quantity of cash from the cash register and all four men escaped on foot running south down Cobbs Hill Road.

The suspects are described as four black men ranging in height from 5ft 6ins to 6ft, wearing baggy clothing. The main suspect is described as dark skinned and approximately 5ft 6ins.
