Water trucker robbed

A 56-year-old water trucker was hit in the head and had his cash stolen by thieves Saturday night.The Devonshire man, who was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment, said he had just finished filling his truck at the Tynes Bay Water Depot on North Shore, when the incident occurred.According to Police, the victim was approached shortly after 8 p.m. by a man demanding money. He was struck in the head and fell to the ground. The suspect is described as light brown skinned, approximately five feet, six inches to five feet, inches tall.

According to Police, the victim was approached shortly after 8 p.m. by a man demanding money. He was struck in the head and fell to the ground. The suspect is described as light brown skinned, approximately five feet, six inches to five feet, inches tall.

He is said to have been wearing a dark coloured jacket at the time of the attack and to have left the depot on foot, travelling in an easterly direction along North Shore Road.
