Boulevard Blazers

v Hamilton Parish

Boulevard will be looking to pace with Cougars in the early running at the top of the table. Strikers Angelo Simmons and Dion Stovell should be enough to get them over this hurdle, but they possess enough firepower to make this match up over quite quickly.

As the season goes on we will learn about the determination and will of a Parish side that has, thus far, held their own against the Island's best.

However, now comes the toughest part of their schedule with a trip to a Boulevard team that is in full stride on the cards followed by defending champions PHC. Prediction: 2-0

Dandy Town v Devonshire Colts

Dandy Town should slide through this match with a full strength side that is still searching for an identity. With Beache and Russell hitting the nest early in the campaign, it could be a case of how many this weekend.

Colts will miss skipper Aljame Zuill, who is nursing a shoulder injury.

And without a certified goal scorer, one will wonder how will step up and lead the side out of the relegation zone so early.

A long day seems the only way to describe this match for Colts and their fans, who will no doubt be staring the drop square in the face after this weekend. Prediction: Town 3-0

North Village v PHC Zebras

A rematch of the Martonmere midweek semi final that saw Village emerge victorious after going down 1-0, winning 2-1. Is the same result in the pipe work for this weekend?

PHC dominated the match and will be looking to seek revenge from their Cup defeat.

Who will score their goals is the biggest question, with no real threat up top to ruffle a few feathers on Thursday.

And North Village Rams will be looking to continue their resurgence after a slow start to their campaign.

Skipper Ralph Bean has put back on his scoring boots as of late and it shouldn't stop this weekend.

Prediction: 1-1

Southampton Rangers v

Devonshire Cougars

Southampton will struggle with this match up. They have shown the grit and ability to compete.

However, this is one weekend they might want to forget, as they will be serious underdogs against the league leaders.

Cougars have started the year unbeaten and should get across Rangers with minimal fuss.

With the Steede tribe running rampant in the Premier Division, the question no longer is will a Steede score, but how many of them will score.

Prediction: 4-1 (Cougars)
