New York woman to be tried Monday for having bullets

An American woman allegedly caught with 11 bullets at L.F. Wade International Airport was remanded in custody this morning.
Lucy Cardon Stackler, 68, pleaded not guilty to possessing five 0.38 calibre Remington bullets, five 0.357 Winchester bullets and one 0.38 calibre Glaser safety slug.
Stackler, of Island Road in Oyster Bay, New York, was represented by lawyer Saul Froomkin in Magistrates' Court.
She will appear on trial before Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner on Monday at 9.30 a.m.
She was remanded in Police custody until then.
