Bermuda international Khano Smith came on as a second-half substitute in New York Red Bulls' 2-1 defeat against FC Dallas.

Smith replaced Danleigh Borman after 49 minutes as Red Bulls went in pursuit of an equaliser in Texas on Saturday night.

Dallas got a pair of goals from Jeff Cunningham two minutes apart, and while Juan Pablo Angel was able to find the back of the net late in the first half for Juan Carlos Osario's side, the hosts held on for a win.

Red Bulls remain rooted to the bottom of the Eastern standings.

They are next in action on Thursday against David Beckham's LA Galaxy at Giants Stadium.
