Govt. buys legislation software
Government has appointed Montreal-based company Irosoft to install its Irosoft LIMS software – an XML system for the drafting, consolidation and publishing of statutes and regulations.
The implementation of the new Legislation Information Management System represents the company's first significant international installation.
"The Government of Bermuda has chosen to install our LIMS system to facilitate access to Bermuda laws by its citizens and the international community," said Alain Lavoie, president and co-founder of Irosoft.
"We are very happy to be chosen for this important contract, which is the result of many months of work by our marketing and development teams.
"What makes our system unique is that it covers all the steps in the legislative process in an integrated fashion."
Irosoft LIMS is one of the only complete solutions on the market that enables national, provincial/state and municipal governments to manage their laws from drafting to public diffusion, and is the only one that does so in a totally bilingual environment.
