Hospitals Board appoints new director of facilities from UK
Bermuda Hospitals Boards has appointed a new facilities director.
Geoff Yeomans will report to the deputy chief executive officer, Venetta Symonds, and is responsible for maintenance, security, and health and safety at all Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) facilities.
He said: "I am very pleased to join Bermuda Hospitals Board. I am looking forward to working with such an experienced facilities team at such an exciting time in BHB's history.
"I have wonderful memories of Bermuda and am extremely happy to have the opportunity to return as director of facilities at BHB."
Mr Yeomans is from the UK and he joins the hospital from New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, a 750-bed acute care hospital, where he was head of estates.
Prior to that, he worked for five years as the senior electrical engineer and estates manager — electrical at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust in London.
Mr. Yeomans previously worked at Belco for eight years.
