There is renewed interest in the Island's satellite potential, according to the Minister of Energy, Telecommunications and E-Commerce.

Michael Scott held 12 meetings with industry leaders at the Satellite 2010 Conference and Exhibition in National Harbour, Maryland, last week.

He said: "Two key meetings of those 12 meetings we held have led to important restated interest in Bermuda space assets and services that I hope will lead to significant development of Bermuda satellite services."
