Teenager charged with unlawful carnal knowlege
A 19-year-old man will appear in the Supreme Court for three sex assault charges.
The teen was charged in Magistrates’ Court yesterday with two counts of unlawful knowledge of a girl aged under 14 and one count of luring.
The offences were alleged to have happened between August 1 and October 1 last year. The defendant and alleged victim cannot be named for legal reasons.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released the man, of no known address, on $5,000 bail and ordered him to have no contact with the alleged victim.
The teen will appear in the Supreme Court arraignments session on March 2.
