A man and woman were arrested after a Police raid uncovered drugs and cash at a house in Deepdale Road East, Pembroke early yesterday.

Numerous uniformed and plain-clothed officers, two sniffer dogs and multiple vehicles descended on the address in order to execute the search warrant.

A Police spokesman said: "As a result, two individuals were arrested and a quantity of cash and controlled drugs seized. This is part of the Bermuda Police Service's ongoing community initiatives to address illegal drug activity wherever it occurs and to pursue those responsible according to the law."

The Royal Gazette understands that the man and woman arrested are both aged in their 20s.
