Over the holiday period, between December 22 and 29, Police attended a total of 41 road crashes 12 of which resulted in injury.

Thirteen people were arrested on suspicion of drink driving and nine vehicles were reported stolen, including seven taken in Pembroke. Two have since been recovered.

One of these vehicles was a car, a silver Suzuki Baleno station wagon, license number 32775, which was taken from the Number One Shed parking lot on Front Street between 3 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 28.
