Bermudian Customs Officers and the efforts of Customs departments around the world will be formerly recognised today for International Customs day.

Throughout the day visitors to the main Customs offices in Hamilton and L.F. Wade Airport will be handed tokens of appreciation for the relationship between Customs and business.

Also, the Collector of Customs, Mrs. Winniefred Fostine-DeSilva will host a staff appreciation function where she will acknowledge long serving officers and hand out commendations for exceptional performance. The theme for this year's celebrations will be "Customs and Business: Improving Performance Through Partnership".
