Larkin

A splendid knock of 85 by Paul Larkin spurred Police to a 37-run victory over Ace Byes in the Evening League's Second Division knockout final at Sea Breeze Oval.

Larkin, named man of the match, added 127 for the fourth wicket with Richard Hinwood (47) as Police piled up 170 for five from their 20 overs after taking a massive 29 runs off the 16th over.

Ace Byes slipped to 50 for five before recovering to reach 133 off 19.5 overs.

David Pringle picked up three for 19 while Durnferd David took two for 22 and Gary Brady two for three.

Renegades won the Premier Division title, beating Belmont by 12 runs – 140 to 128.
