Community Education adds online registration option

Participants in the Ministry of Culture and Social Rehabilitation's Community Education and Development Programme now have the option to register for courses online.

"This milestone is another among the many success stories that the Community Education and Development Programme team has accomplished in its history of thirty years of service to the public. Congratulations to them for their vision that will enable persons to register at their convenience." Said Minister of Culture and Social Rehabilitation Neletha Butterfield.

The programme, which offers dozens of non-credit classes like beginner's French, carpentry for women and various forms of dance, has helped many Bermudians improve upon professional skills, learn new fields and explore topics that interest them.

The new online registration option comes just in time for the programme's Spring semester which commences April 5.

All three of the Community Education and Development Programme offices in St. George's, Hamilton and Warwick will facilitate online registration in addition to current methods of course payments by telephone, walk-in, fax, mail-in, and drop-off services.

Minister Butterfield added, "We are proud to offer online registration for the CEDP Programme, as it allows for customer friendly and quality service as we meet the technological needs of our community. We believe everyone will be pleased with the look and feel of our revived and interactive website, www.communityed.gov.bm."

Registration is open to the public between Monday April 5 and Friday April 16. To Register online go to www.communityed.gov.bm.
