CNN chief Klein leaves

NEW YORK (Reuters) – CNN's U.S. chief Jon Klein is leaving the cable network as it tries to revamp itself after losing viewers to rivals like Fox News and MSNBC.

Klein, who spent six years as head of CNN US, is being replaced by Ken Jautz, a longtime CNN executive who most recently oversaw the HLN network.

Jautz, a former head of CNN's business news operations and CNN Money, oversaw a restructuring of HLN and launched programs like Nancy Grace, Joy Behar and ShowBiz Tonight.

CNN has replaced Jautz at HLN with Scot Safon. Safon was most recently CNN Worldwide's chief marketing officer.
