The scale is an integral piece of equipment for monitoring newborn growth while keeping infant warm.

An international health management company is helping Bermuda's children by donating money for an infant warming cart scale at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The equipment will help protect newborn babies against sudden heat loss and ensure that they are comfortable when they are first weighed.

CMN Inc announced the donation Monday, saying that they were proud to give back to the Bermuda community.

David Hill, Chief Executive Officer for the Bermuda Hospitals Board, said: "We would like to thank CMN for their kind donation.

"These scales will help us improve the experience for our very youngest patients."
