Clearwater Middle School was due to reopen as normal today after closing early yesterday due to loss of water.

The Ministry of Education said that the problem was caused by the loss of regularised water pressure. It said that in the interest of health and safety the decision was made to end the school day one hour early at 2.30 p.m.

The Ministry arranged with the Public Transportation Board and buses were provided to collect students normally collected later in the day.

The Ministry apologised for any inconvenience the loss of water caused.
