Government will discuss the Child Day Care Allowance at a public meeting this Thursday.

The Department of Financial Assistance (Ministry of Culture and Social Rehabilitation) and the Ministry of Health will host the meeting, at the Goodwin C. Smith Hall, New Testament Church of God in Dundonald Street from 7 p.m..

The meeting will feature a presentation by Dianna Taylor, Director of Financial Assistance, and a representative from the Ministry of Health.

A Government spokesman said: "As key stakeholders, Child Care Providers and Day Care Centres are strongly advised to attend this meeting as the Department of Financial Assistance and the Ministry of Health seeks feedback on the Day Care Child Allowance which is scheduled to be rolled out in November."
