Capital G Bank announces promotions
Capital G Bank Ltd. has appointed Michael Veale senior vice-president, retail and commercial banking.
Mr. Veale will be responsible for Personal Lending, Business Banking and Financial Services within Personal Banking.
He joined Capital G in April 2008 as vice-president and head of Business Banking and was charged with the formation of the new commercial banking division of the bank.
Mr. Veale will be supported by three new sales team leaders. Karen Brown becomes head of Personal Lending and will be responsible for the strategic and product development of the bank's loan department and oversee the personal lending portfolio of customers.
She first joined Capital G in June 2004 and has more than 20 years experience in lending and credit management. She was formerly senior relationship manager in Business Banking.
Rob Bernardino has been appointed the new head of Business Banking and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the division.
Mr. Bernardino, who is promoted from relationship manager in the same division, brings years of experience in business banking to his new position following a successful career in Canada with one of the world's leading banks, Scotia Bank and RBC Dexia Investor Services.
Effective August 30, Lawrence Fox will be heading the Financial Services Department., developing and managing the Bank's personal deposit products and banking services.
Lawrence, currently a private banker, will be responsible for the development of new clients and the management of existing personal client relationships while seeking new business opportunities.
He has taken part in Capital G's Leadership Development Programme for the last eight months and has been with Capital G Bank since 2006, having joined the bank as a financial services representative.
Recently promoted within the Bank's Service Standards area, Angela Brangman takes a newly created position as senior vice-president of Service Delivery. She will implement and oversee consistent execution against procedures and policies in accordance with prescribed service and quality standards. She will also manage key service delivery channels including the Call Centre, Teller and Banking Operations.
Angela Brangman joined Capital G in January 2006 as a vice-president and later became vice-president of Branch Banking in 2007.
